El Paso Pro Musica Foundation

Foundation Information

The El Paso Pro-Musica Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization registered with the State of Texas as a supporting organization for El Paso Pro-Musica. With a Board of Directors comprised of members of the Board of Directors as well as prominent members of the community at large, the foundation seeks to guarantee El Paso Pro-Musica's future through its supervision of an endowment fund, established through a generous gift from the estate of Shirley van Studdiford Rhoades, a long-time member of the El Paso Pro-Musica Guild and one of the organizations staunchest supporters.

The Foundation's tax-exempt status provides music lovers with an opportunity to take advantage of the incentives for charitable giving provided for by federal tax law. Gifts to the Foundation are fully tax-deductible and may include donations of cash, securities, real property and tangible personal property.

Planned giving to the foundation, including bequests and charitable remainder trusts, may be a part of the estate planning process for certain individuals. In all cases, gifts to the Foundation are a vote of confidence in El Paso Pro-Musica and its artistic mission. The directors of the Foundation are glad to answer any questions. We also advise you to consult your tax advisor or attorney for more detailed information.
